Corporation Commission Candidates Respond to AIC Survey

Six candidates for the office of Arizona Corporation Commissioner have filed signature petitions with the Secretary of State, qualifying for the August 24th primary election ballot:

Gary Pierce (R)
Barry Wong (R)

Additionally, Rick Fowlkes has indicated a run as a write-in candidate.

AIC contacted the candidates and asked each to respond to a survey regarding their positions on a variety of regulatory issues ranging from energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, water pricing policies, the continued regulation of an increasingly competitive telecommunications industry, and  balancing ratepayer and shareholder interests.
